How to Stop Controller Opening Up STEAM (Guide Button Fucoses Steam)

To prevent your controller’s guide button from opening Steam, follow these steps:

Open Steam in Big Picture Mode:
Click the full-screen icon (located at the top right of the Steam window) to enter Big Picture Mode.
Navigate to Controller Settings:
In Big Picture Mode, go to Settings.

Select Controller Settings under the Controller section.

Disable “Guide Button Focuses Steam”:

Uncheck the option that says “Guide button focuses Steam”.

Restart Steam:

After making this change, restart Steam to apply the settings.
This should prevent Steam from launching when you press the guide button on your controller. Enjoy uninterrupted gaming!
