Here's a short video showing some little-known details in Smile 2. After shooting the main trophy to open the passage, you can actually close it by shooting any of the other trophies. The other trophies cannot open the passage, and the main trophy cannot close it.

I also included a small bit at the end showing what happens if you attempt to go through the passage from the back after opening/closing it; you're stuck there, and can't open it from behind. Absolutely useless, but a fun bit of trivia regardless.
