First of all, I had nothing to do with this discovery (found in February 2020). All of the credit goes to Bigmanjapan. I am only documenting it for Youtube.

In Cloudman, you would normally get the Astronaut figurine (#12) from Apartment 206. However, there is a very small chance of the Astronaut dropping from the dispenser.

Here is the randomization formula (found by Bigmanjapan):
(rand()*(100+1)/RAND_MAX%(100+1)+1) == 51

Meaning:
0.9888%

As you can see, it really isn't worth going for beyond the novelty. I got extraordinary lucky in this particular video by getting it in just five tokens, but I had an earlier recording attempt that burned through all fifty tokens with no success, and I've burned through hundreds of tokens on other tests for this figurine. Going for the Astronaut here would only be viable for a TAS run, though I can imagine manipulating it would be a major headache.

This is confirmed to work on GCN and PC, but not PS2. According to Bigmanjapan, it might not be actually possible on PS2, as he did a bunch of testing with scripts with no success. He theorizes it may have been a leftover of an earlier design that was overlooked on GCN, but was fixed for PS2. As far as we can tell, it's impossible on PS2.

I went back to Apartment 206 to show what happens when you pick up the figurine there despite already having it: absolutely nothing special happens. For the sake of brevity, I edited out traveling to the apartment and pre-cleared the room. And for the record, you can't get the seventh figurine from the dispenser; it must always be obtained from Audrey's Drugstore.

At the end, I show the cute little pig doll in the corner that I learned about earlier this year, just for fun.
