Last Scenario is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. A rather typical kind of rpg, but with enough twists and an interesting story to make the journey well worth taking.

The latest version of the game can always be found here:

The video begins as Matilda & Thorve arrive in Entalar just as the events from the end of the last video are happening. They get a chance to explore town, but there's not much to do that Lorenza couldn't except for some clearly harsher treatment from some select NPCs.

While you could go to Lesalia's house, there's nobody there. Instead, you'll want to go east of her house to the next screen where the entrance to the elder's residence seems to be. All the guards in front of it make a full frontal assault by the duo a poor idea to attempt.

As the duo backtracks through town, they get stopped by a flock of guards. Evidently they want to pick a fight as seen when they basically say "We don't like you, get out of our town!". Guys, you do NOT piss off Matilda. Ever.

The squabble drags on long enough for Ethan & Randolph to come on to the scene. The guards then decide they can kick everyone's asses. They are shown the error of their ways in combat because they do no real damage and die easily to some good AoE offensives.

After the fight, the guards clearly decide to go into asshole stupid overdrive mode, claiming everyone attacked THEM first for no reason. Best solution for the party before more dumb guards are called? Make a run for the elder's residence.

Before arriving there, you're going to want to take any important items you want to use for the next couple of dungeons off of Ethan. He'll be out of the party for awhile following the upcoming cutscenes.

After more guards get their asses kicked at the elder's residence, two groups of guards think they can arrest the party. Clearly they didn't see what happened when the last couple of guard squadrons tried to cause mischief.

As if to drive that point in further, Barasur himself comes out of the building and basically tells the guards to sod off as he's gonna take the party with him. He then delivers the bad news to the party that Lorenza's been captured. Problem for Ortas though is that he must abide by tradition. Everything must be setup perfectly for the Awakening ceremony, hence why there's still time to save her.

The scene then switches over to Ortas just as Castor & the Omega Team arrive. Castor probably should be reprimanded for allowing the seals to fall (or explain why a giant ass clock was the guardian of one of them, that too). He isn't though simply because of how Ortas now has Lorenza in his possession to kickoff the Awakening ceremony.

Castor & company's goal? Look for any rebels mulling about around Entalar...oh, and to be aware that they might be getting a visit from another problem that Barasur left behind. Given his use of "her", Ortas is no doubt talking about Tiamat.

After Ortas leaves, there's more talk about Castor's "plans". It almost sounds like Castor's using Ortas for some unknown reason at this point. No doubt world domination or something similar is going to play out before this song & dance is over with.

Next time, we'll be switching back to Hilbert & Zawu.
