Let’s Play BG2 EE ToB #06: Securing Our Place in History
80Volothamp Geddarm is a legendary historian and storyteller whose curiosity has made him stumble upon many a historical event in the making. That he has survived so many of these as a low level wizard speaks of his gift with the spoken word, his resourcefulness and serendipity, though the sheer quantity of the latter he’s experienced would make you wonder whether the source of it is divine in some nature. We met him in Nashkel way during our adventures around Baldur’s Gate and now we find him again, though this time we are very well known to him indeed. It’s safe to say that he’s going to make sure to write a lengthy passage in his next work about us, though how accurate it will be is another matter.
We have a spellbook to retrieve which shouldn’t be too difficult and after that, some items to buy. Then we’ll be getting involved in the other significant side quest of the area that will get us some nice experience and a couple of small things to sell. Most of the loot we’ll get in Saradush is nothing special, though there are a few choice items that Cespenar can improve upon which make themselves obvious by being very unique in name and appearnce.
