Let’s Play The Fall Part 2 Unbound #02: A Servant Serving Senselessly
123This is my first playthrough through this game. Kindly avoid posting spoilers in the comments or solutions to puzzles either in this video or future ones so as not to spoil the experience for me or those that haven’t seen the game before.
In our efforts to track down the user who is using a virus to attack us, we’ve found a butler robot connected up to network space. The user is somehow utilising the robot to either bounce its signal along a chain or mask its tracks. We aren’t sure which it is right now which means we need to cooperate with the butler to find out. The only problem with this is that we don’t have control of its body; we as the player control it but Aird isn’t the one calling the shots and said shots all revolve around buttling.
While the first game was all about slowly eliminating the boundaries that prevented us from performing our mission, the second presents the problem of having to work with an AI that, unlike us, is rigidly sticking to the rules and protocols set out for it by its creator long after they have ceased to be relevant. If we’re to have any hope of finding out what the connection between the butler and the user is, we’re going to have to work within those confines and find wiggle room that’ll get us where we want it to be and to do what we want it to do but if that fails...
