Welcome to Binary Domain, a futuristic Sci-Fi Third Person Shooter Developed by SEGA that takes place in Japan in the year 2080. Cybernetics have advanced and androids are being used as the predominant force in the world. In order to maintian laws and peace, the New Geneva Convention has been signed and a special task force named RUST has been prepared to deal with international violations in the field of robotics and robotic warfare. Our protagonist, Daniel Marshall, belongs to RUST and has been tasked with infiltrating Japan and arresting Amada, a genius in the field of Robotics, for his transgressions. To that effect, other members of RUST will also be joining them. The game focuses primarily on shootouts, but it also has RPG mechanics with gear and upgrades. It also features a trust system for all your allies that determines how favourably they follow you or respond to your commands. The game also has a voice command feature for deeper immersion, but we have kept that turned off since we are employing commentary.

The year is 2080. Cybernetics have advanced to a point where humanity has become reliant on robots to sustain itself. Amidst the dawn of this new horizon, the various nations across the planet have agreed to sign the New Geneva Convension which concerns itself with primarily robotics and their huamne implications. A task force called RUST has been created to bring violators of these new laws to justice.

Dan Marshall, a RUST enforcer, has been sent on a mission to Japan to apprehend a fugitive that has violated the new laws of robotics as per the international treaties. His mission, along with his partner Roy Boateng's, is to infiltrate the coast of Japan via the Seawall, a structure that was built as a response to rising sea levels and shrinking landmass, and proceed inwards to meet the rest of the members deeper in the country.

They find themselves on a bridge, looking for a way into the island nation without alerting the patrolling robots to their presence. The are to enter while being latched onto a shipping container, which is the only window when the bay doors of the sea wall shall remain open.

However, before long, they are spotted by robot sentries and are forced to enter an encounter. Clearing two waves, the Japanese Defence Ministry gets impatient and sends a Grand Lancer after them. Luckily, they are near the ship and it is only a short swim to the vessel to facilitate a succesful infiltration. None shall be the wiser as long as they don't see them enter.

Upon entry, the next order of business is to infiltrate the interior of the Sea Wall so that they may enter the actual country of Japan through Roppongi. They were expecting firefights and that is exactly what they get. However, the sequence of alarms prompts a powerful response in the form of a Grand Lancer as they find themselves smartly herded into a room with it by a group of patrol bots.

Knowing that a direct confrontation isn't wise, they use the cranes and machinery at their disposal to eliminate it.

Here is how Dan and Big Bo infitltrated the Seawall around Tokyo:
