Let's Play Dungeon Hack #30: Troublesome Teleporter Trickery
This game features no music outside of the intro cutscene. I suggest that you play some music to go with the gameplay. If you want a suggestion for music for this video, one is provided below.

I've found that as we get deeper into the dungeon, teleporters are starting to be used more and more, especially with the level theme that we're in right now which has been used once before. Stepping into the unknown is perilous enough without having that moment of not knowing anything about the room you've appeared in or how many enemies are around you. On these later levels the foes are tough enough without teleporters thrown into the mix, so to have so many here with the scaladars being able to inflict collosal amounts of damage while being highly durable really makes this level harder then any others we've faced.
Still, we're making progress. It's slow and with plenty of breaks to rest and recast our buff spells, but every time Seledran camps he's that much closer to the end of the level. Knowing exactly how the lightning attack of the scaladars functions allows us to combat them that much more effectively. Each level we gain fighting them is a few more hit points, better THAC0 and a few more spells to cast. The war of attrition with this floor is slowly being won by us and in time, we'll see the next floor past this one.
Let's just hope it's not as difficult as this one, eh?
One thing to mention is that I originally wanted to call this video 'The Trouble with Teleporters', only to find that I'd recently used that title for the replay of Ultimate Doom. After over 6,000 videos I'm bound to use some similar titles eventually, but for that to fit so well with videos so close to each other is intriguing.
