This game features no music outside of the intro cutscene. I suggest that you play some music to go with the gameplay. If you want a suggestion for music for this video, one is provided below.

Before we finish off this floor and head down to the next, there's one bit of unfinished business that we need to take care of on the ninth floor, a small part of the map that we haven't yet explored. Since this game hates to leave any part of the map without something for you to explore, there's surely a switch that I haven't pressed which will allow me into that area. That said, the chance that there's something worth our time to backtrack to the previous level is small considering how the game loves to bulk up the maps with purposeless corridors, but there's always that tiny chance a useful item is good item is hidden away in that secret area. Once we've checked that out we'll try our best to clear the tenth floor and with any luck, we'll never see another scaladar for the rest of the game.

Not likely I know, but I can hope.

Speaking of corridors, this game has a definite problem with over-filling the map space available on each floor. It would be fine in a game that wasn't randomly generated, with interesting things on those areas that were placed there by the developers. How this game generates dungeons does result in some very interesting levels, but it's also causing one particular level type to repeat and within that level, lots of corridors that ultimately lead to nothing, not even monsters. Sometimes we're opening locked doors to find absolutely nothing but a dead end or worse, another key which we'll use to open another door that leads to a dead end. That the game is only dungeon delving and monster killing was something I knew from the outset, but to discover at this point that a lot of the exploration you're doing succeeds only in consuming your time isn't the greatest thing. You end up looking everywhere anyway just in case there's loot, but each time you use a key to get nothing makes me wonder if I'm instead better off finding the exit as soon as possible and heading down. I know I'll end up exploring everywhere anyway, but it's something to consider.
