Now that we've found the library and Tenebrae, we can ask Bentic if he knows a way to leave Pagan. As someone who's read much and has many tomes on ancient history, he's the best person in the city to ask that to. That Devon trusts him is also encouraging, as he seems quite dependable and trustworthy. I'm not holding out much hope that he does but hey, wouldn't it be handy if he had a handy gate of blackrock we could use to return to Britannia?
I get the feeling that nothing's going to be as straightforward as that here. It makes me think fondly of Ultima VII, where Lord British happily opens up the castle armoury to you and hands you a spellbook, giving you his full support in the process.
There's one more place we haven't explored in the city, the palace. Of all the regions of Tenebrae, it's here that we need to tread the most lightly; we don't want to incur the wrath of Mordea, as it most likely ends with the Avatar blown into tiny pieces by the sorcerer that can be summoned with a loud enough shout by the citizens. Either that caster has incredible hearing or he possesses a power that's yet to be truly seen.
