I picked this game up from the Racial Justice bundle from itch.io.

I have no idea what this game is about. I mean, okay. What I know: You are a spaceport janitor, which is basically the worst job in the joint. You wake up, clean, eat, go to bed, and hopefully make a bit more money than you did yesterday. You also get cursed with a floating skull that you have to get rid of by doing quests. Other than that, there's not a lot of "plot" in the traditional sense.

Visually, this game's an absolute trip: it's all low-res, and yet still caused my computer to utterly chug by the end; there's a whole slew of creature people that are all pretty different in design and speech pattern; the world design is a maze of interconnecting lanes that you have to learn to help yourself from getting lost. There is also a first person mode which hurt my eyes and head every time I had to be in it.

Honestly I don't really know how to feel about this game. It's interesting, but I don't know if I liked it. The daily grind was a bit too real for me, and the graphics started to do a number on my brain after a while. In spite of all that, I am intrigued by the world and the possible stories it has to tell. I don't know if I like Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor, but I will be thinking about it for a while.
