Continuing the research of the original Continue glitch! It is so bizarre... As you may recall, Continue glitch is a type of Checkpoint corruption glitch and causes slightly different results in every part of the game.

(Not on the vid: Chapter 3-2 is normal.)

0:00 - Chapter 3-3. One of the lighting effects is too bright, making Max and some reflective surfaces look too shiny. Max also doesn't have a weapon on him. Trying to examine the elevator results in the prompt disappearing and nothing happening. So seems you're stuck here.

(Not on the vid: Trying to examine the TV just makes Max freeze in place.)

0:40 - Chapter 3-4. Max spawns without a gun and some lighting element is too bright once again. Passos' dialogue is silent. You can play onward in the level like this, and things seem to become normal eventually, around Chapter 3-6.

1:07 - just look at this floor polish! I guess that's where most of this Stadium's budget went.

1:32 - Chapter 3-5. Max spawns without a gun and is in danger of falling through the floor. Usually the floor catches him, though, before anything too bad happens. But on occasion, Max will fall through the floor upon retry and you can see the level from out of bounds. If you die and retry, Max has a bigger chance of instantly falling out of bounds as gameplay continues.

Walking up to the next cutscene, the graphical effects become more or less fixed. Max still remains gun-less, though.

2:24 - Chapter 3-6. Max spawns without a gun. Also, all colors are gray and desaturated and surfaces extra shiny. Things look quite disturbing like this - the sweat on Max's skin is especially pronounced and looks like zombie goo or something. It's possible to play onward in the level like this, but the graphical effects become fixed in the cutscene before Chapter 3-8.

4:04 - playing onward in the level with the glitched lighting.

4:53 - Chapter 3-7. Just showing the slow level load if you start from this Checkpoint instead.

5:22 - Chapter 3-8. Max has no gun and the game world is once again dark and desaturated. It's possible to play onward in the level like this. The lighting becomes mostly fixed when moving into Chapter 3-10, and finally completely fixed when when riding elevator to Chapter 3-11.

And again, I'm playing onward in the level a bit to show off the glitched lighting some more.

6:49 - upon reaching Chapter 3-10, Max tries to automatically wield his small arms, even if he doesn't currently have one. Leading to this slightly glitchy situation inside the game.

7:05 - Chapter 3-9. Max starts near the helicopter at ground level without a gun. The game world is dark and desaturated, and you can see the flashlights of some enemies in the distance. You can explore the first floor of the Stadium with the weird lighting, but get stuck because there is no elevator there.

8:00 - I really like how this floor looks with the glitched lighting! Hypnotic.

8:31 - some hyperactive floor reflections once again. Also, showing Max getting stuck since there's no elevator.

8:55 - Chapter 3-10. Max is displaced in the intro and parts of his body are visible through the door. After that, the gameplay continues in a slightly dark version of this area and Max lacks a gun. It's possible to play onwards from this point, and the colors become fixed when riding elevator to Chapter 3-11.

9:28 - Chapter 3-11. Max starts this Checkpoint with no gun and lighting-wise it's daytime. Very interesting to see the Stadium in these conditions! The lighting fixes itself at the start of the cutscene leading to Chapter 3-12, not to mention Max gets stuck and the game "softlocks" at the end of the cutscene.

11:38 - Chapter 3-14. Max starts the Checkpoint without a gun and with normal lighting. Environment also loads in a little slower than usual, which looks strange. It's possible to play onward in the level, and things seem to work out normal.

(Not on the vid: Chapter 3-15. Lighting is normal. Max slides down the set piece without a gun, but suddenly one materializes out of nowhere as he is aiming at his enemy, and against all odds you can complete the level like this.)

11:52 - bonus: psycho-LMS at Chapter 3-9. Always nice to see new color combinations.

12:33 - bonus: psycho-LMS at Chapter 3-10. But it doesn't work out as expected...
