Alrighty, Blast Hornet. I actually don't have the skill to hit the weakness of anything here, but Tornado Spin just so happens to do damage here and it's enough to get me through, especially after the pair of Helmet MkIV's I grabbed for the duo. The status resistance is never bad, but I mainly got it for the massive +500 Cpu stat boost it confers. It'll give a nice boost in damage to Tornado Spin as well as all other skills, meaning the last two maverick's stages will go by more smoothly.

Anyways, Blast Hornet's stage get a difficulty rating for 7...and honestly, I can't figure out why. If anything, the difficulty ratings for this stage and Neon Tiger's should have been swapped. Everything in this stage is weaker overall than said mentioned stage (two Tornado Spins do enough damage to wipe mobs before they can act), they don't give out as much exp as said stage, and there's not even anything interesting here item wise (though that's really pulling at differences honestly).

If you needed another reason to wonder if the difficulty rating should be swapped with Neon Tiger, well, Blast Hornet's attacks are all weaker than what Neon Tiger was using. I will give him points though for one of his attacks he sadly never used here where he throws a giant mambo sized mecha bee at the duo.

Luckily, the duo gets to fire off their own giant mecha bees in the form of the skill reward, Bug Assault. Hits all enemies, effective on forest types, costs 30 WE.

Only two mavericks left to dismantle.
