Great to finally play the legendary R-Type arcade on MiSTer! I'm still getting my butt kicked trying to learn a clean run, but the game is fun as ever and looks, plays and sounds wonderful already. I look forward to continuing the progress I made here when the core gets an official release!
There is stutter in the scrolling because of the game's native 55hz refresh rate, which I used while playing on CRT and capturing this on HDMI. There are core options to change to 50/60hz but this will effect the game speed also.
