Back with more Alpha footage! I use a variety of characters here but honestly the biggest takeaway for me here is how much I liked Superman!

Set 1: Tree Fort, Trophy's E.D.G.E.
Taz (DemonSlayer730) & Shaggy (ShadowKnight79) vs. Harley Quinn (LazyNoodles) & Superman (me)

Superman is classified as a Tank (though was apparently a Mage early in development?), and in contrast to Wonder Woman, who grants her allies super armor....Superman just uses and abuses it for himself. Many of his attacks have armor to plow through enemies, alongside his freeze breath and heat vision. I don't know if characters have weight in this game but it certainly FEELS like Superman is a bit more prone to surviving than other characters. I'm a big fan....just glad he's not the heat vision camper that is his Injustice incarnation. You know....Shaggy clearly is meant to parallel the likes of Goku....is Ultra Instinct Shaggy the closest we'll ever get to a Superman vs. Goku situation?

Set 2: Trophy's E.D.G.E. 1 & 2
Velma (me) & Bugs Bunny (Godanque) vs. Garnet (LummoAbove) & Harley Quinn (AlexUhPlayDespotSeeToe)

So I don't understand why some stages seem to have multiple forms. Classic 3 Platforms and Training Stage are mostly the same, and here Trophy's E.D.G.E. 1 and 2! But Tree Fort and Scooby's Haunted Mansion are SOL I guess. This was me trying to learn how to use Velma effectively. I thought her speech bubbles healed allies but it looks like they just might get a buff and send the speech bubbles away but even stronger. Seeing as Velma can reduce cooldowns I think she pairs well with Bugs. He was able to fire off another rocket SUPER fast compared to normally. And I even got a KO with the cop car....but that could still use some tweaking. For as much work as it takes to build up to it it's still possible to break out of the car in time...kinda feels like a fluke if I land it honestly.

Set 3: Trophy's E.D.G.E., Training Stage
Finn/Garnet/Wonder Woman (CDUBYA09) & Bugs Bunny/Taz/Shaggy (GUNSLANGA25) vs. Harley Quinn/Wonder Woman (xRyzen_Joyx) & Jake (me)

Trying out Jake in teams and...yeah he still seems good! Or rather, his forward air is still ridiculously good. The opening match seemed to be going in our favor with me netting kills early but we couldn't close it out fast enough! Second match came down to the wire! These stages are almost too big to net kills it feels like...and again...dealing with invisible Taz nonsense. A lotta character swapping this set honestly! Though I think they made a poor choice switching to Wonder Woman, since it looks like a lot of Jake's strong attacks bypass armor.

Match 1: Trophy's E.D.G.E 2
Batman (me) & Batman (Saga1998) vs. Harley Quinn (PineappleSmall843) & Reindog (RobinGrayOtter157)

I'm including this last one as a bonus just for fun. I unlock Batman to try him out and...immediately get double Batman. This match was a wash....something something Batman sucks...but I find it funny that Batman has a voice line for specifically hitting Harley with a Batarang. Those two have fun banter anyways, which is nice...but then that Reindog didn't wanna play more? Weird.
