I've taken a bit of a break from MultiVersus since Xenoblade 3 is out and I've been devouring it instead. I also finished this pre-season battle pass so I saw less reason to boot the game up for the time being. That said, here's one more video probably at least until Morty comes out next week. This was actually from the final day of early access though, just FYI.

Match 1: Tree Fort

This stage can be a real mess until you know those trees on the side down. WAY too boxed in. Seeing a lot more Tom & Jerry as time goes on; they're definitely very good characters, if it a bit hard to play, but when you have one of the best Smash players in the world using them is it any wonder people would follow suit?

Match 2: Batcave

I guess my performance with Shaggy inspired the other team to do a costume switch...uh, I'm flattered? It ended up being pretty close...but I'm the TRUE Shaggy in the end. Weird thing at the end here on the victory screen; the game didn't recognize we had done two games and treated it like everyone declined a rematch when...we had won the best of three. It sorted itself at the end though.

Match 3: Sky Arena Three Platforms

Home stage advantage! Also we rarely see Arya so may as well highlight her. I tried my best to be more supportive here. Could have stood to block more I guess but often my physical shields made good walls and platforms that helped us out a bunch. Might be tough to tell but around 08:00 or so Wonder Woman tried to spike me but I landed on my shield platform and didn't die! Now if only Melon Steven pulled his weight...

Match 4: Batcave

Once again my opponents struggled to play around my shield at points. Around 11:18 I had it right at ledge and try as they might, they couldn't attack me through it! In fact Arya then hit Wonder Woman OFF the wall to score a KO! Steven and Arya are master assassins, that's just canon now.

Match 5: Scooby's Haunted Mansion

...let it be known I will occasionally show my losses! This was just such a dominating performance. This Steven was all over me, bubbled us twice and just in general the Wonder Woman kept them both alive AND scored most of the kills. I gotta give respect to a fellow Steven main!

Match 6: Trophy's E.D.G.E. 2

Ah, a fellow rabbit of culture I see! And...a Taz that does nothing but spam the spin. Great. At this point I think most people are doing this because they know it's annoying. They don't care about winning or losing; just sending a message! Oh and hey more Taz glitches at the end. It's almost like this character was undercooked and shouldn't have been added to the game yet!

Match 7: Trophy's E.D.G.E. 2

Have some free-for-alls to end things off, shall we? Jake seems pretty fun in this mode. Lotta strong, long range moves. Just charge up a punch or something in the chaos and WHAM. Or just be Shagworth I guess.

Match 8: Trophy's E.D.G.E. 2

Yeesh, what's with the same stage, game? I know there's only so many but...jeez. Hey look, double Harley! And someone willing to shell out FIFTEEN DOLLARS for a single skin. I guess they like jesters that much. And they won so...this is totally pay to win right?

Match 9: Trophy's E.D.G.E. 2

OK game seriously we have other stages! Man...Bugs is really multiplying like a rabbit! Such an overwhelming victory! I gotta say, Bugs' trash talk is next level. And I LOVE that he has SO MUCH specific talk saved for Arya. He must be have been really mad at that final season of the show.

That'll do for now. Morty's out next week or so and a new season starts so I'll likely mess around with that. I MIGHT play more and record if the mood strikes but I'm firmly in Xenoblade 3 brainrot mode so no promises until that's beaten. Until we meet again!
