Princess Teotlalco
March 30, 1485 – August 31, 1553
Biography: Princess Teotlalco, it is believed, was the most favored among Moctezuma II’s wives. Upon marrying him in the early 1500s, she became Moctezuma II’s principle wife, a not uncommon practice of the time and region.
Genealogical Notes: Married Moctezuma II on January 6, 1507. Mother of Doña Isabel Moctezuma. Grandmother of Sebastián and Leonor Cortés.
