Diego Luis Moctezuma
November 19, 1558 – March 24, 1627
Biography: Diego Luis Moctezuma, a grandson of Moctezuma II, was brought to Spain by King Philip II. A stubborn young man, Diego resisted his relocation due to the circumstances in which he was made to move. Diego is said to have forever felt a longing for his homeland.
Genealogical Notes: Son of Don Pedro and Catalina Moctezuma (née Quiasuchitl). Married Francisca de la Cueva on July 27, 1592. Father of Augustina Moctezuma.
