After beating Candice at Snowpoint Gym, it is time to head to Lake Acuity, and find that Barry was unable to stop Jupiter and Team Galactic. The rest of the video is just a bunch of optional stuff with Rock Climb, which is found on Route 217, and it is by the house, so if you didn't pick it up, enjoy backtracking through the snow, because you are going to need it to progress through the game.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

The next thing to do after beating Snowpoint Gym is to go to Lake Acuity, where Barry could not stop Jupiter, and you can explore Lake Acuity and pick up the TM for Blizzard there. Then I explore some past areas where you can use Rock Climb to access.
The first one I do is on Route 216, there are a bunch of Trainers you can fight and you can get some items, like the Mental Herb and the TM for Ice Beam. I did talk to enough NPCs in the Grand Underground in order to get Spiritomb, even though you can get it right when you access Route 209, it is a grind to try and get 32 unique NPCs in order to get it.
Other places are Route 208, where you can fight a Hiker and find a hidden Iron, and on Route 211, you can get the TM for Psychic, while it is nice to get moves like Psychic and Ice Beam for free, they are TMs you can buy at Veilstone City's Department Store.
On Route 210, there is a Dragon Tamer with a Gible, so he is there if you want to battle him, but he is not the only Trainer in the game to have Gible on his team, and near him is Grandma Wilma's house, and she will teach the move Draco Meteor to any of your Dragon-type Pokémon, in the original games, your Dragon-type Pokémon needed to have a high enough friendship in order to learn that move. Draco Meteor is very powerful, but it cuts your Special Attack stat, and this move was the winner of a competition before Diamond & Pearl released in Japan, and they also did another competition for Sword & Shield where Steel Beam was the move that won, both being moves that can only be taught to Pokémon of a specific type. There aren't that many Dragon-type Pokémon available in the main game, the Gible line being the only ones in the Sinnoh Dex, and there is Altaria which you can get in the Grand Underground, which is a good option for a Pokémon that can learn Draco Meteor.
Route 213 has a lot of areas to use Rock Climb in, one of them has the TM for Roar, and in one house, which requires Rock Climb, you can get Coin Toss, a Pokétch App which you can use if you want to make a decision, so it is a coin flip, and you can get the TM for Dream Eater, not the best move to have, as it can only work on sleeping targets, and there are some Pokémon that can learn Dream Eater and not learn a move that puts the target to sleep.
At Veilstone City, which we have to go to in order to take on Team Galactic in their base, there is a Full Incense, which is an item that causes the user to move last, and if given to Snorlax, you can breed Munchlax at the Nursery, so aside from the beginning part, most of it is just a bunch of optional stuff you can do with Rock Climb. There is Mount Coronet which you can explore, and I just learned that it is actually called Mount Coronet in this game, not Mt. Coronet like I was used to it being in the original games, and while you can use Rock Climb there, you will be going through Mount Coronet very soon, so I will wait till then.
