I enter Stark Mountain, and I meet up with Buck, who is interested in finding the Magma Stone, which is said to be guarded by a Legendary Pokémon. I team up with Buck and his Claydol against a bunch of Trainers in the mountain, and they have some really tough Pokémon at high levels.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

When you enter Stark Mountain, this place does require Hidden Moves like Rock Smash and Strength, and there are a lot of items to get. The first room isn't anything special, aside from Barry telling you that Buck went ahead, and when you enter the large room, he teams up with you. Buck has a Claydol as his Pokémon, it has Earth Power, Extrasensory, Ancient Power, and Cosmic Power, so it is a reliable teammate, although Claydol does sometimes use Cosmic Power to boost its defensive stats in battle.
Much like with Marley back in Victory Road, in the initial release for this game, the second Trainer in the Double Battle would say "Here I come!" instead of their normal line, this was something I experienced when I played through this game, specially at around Stark Mountain.
When Buck is with you, you cannot use Rock Climb, and for items you can pick up, there is an Iron Ball, which causes the user to move last, but the good thing is when you use Fling when holding an Iron Ball, it is a 130 power move, the strongest out of all the possible held items. There is a Flame Plate which powers up Fire-type moves when held, and the TM for Overheat. As for new encounters, the most notable one is Magcargo, I will go over the good about it, Magcargo can get either Flame Body or Magma Armor, those are the two Abilities that allow you to hatch Eggs faster, so I would recommend catching a Magcargo for that reason, Camerupt does also get Magma Armor, but it can have Solid Rock as its other Ability, so Magcargo is the more reliable one, and you can find its pre-evolved form Slugma as a 5% encounter. Going over Magcargo, it is a defensive Fire/Rock-type Pokémon, which is not a good thing, the type combo of Fire and Rock is one of the worse defensive type combinations, it is 4x weak to Water and Ground, two of the most common attacking types, so there is a reason why Magcargo is never used in a serious competitive battle. As for the good, Magcargo can learn moves like Flamethrower, Lava Plume, and Earth Power for moves, and you can find it in the Grand Underground where it can have Stockpile, Heat Wave, Curse, Inferno, and many other moves, Magcargo can't even learn Power Gem, and they didn't even carry over Meteor Beam to this game, so Ancient Power is the best for a Rock-type Special move Magcargo can get.
After getting through Stark Mountain, Buck enters the room and picks up the Magma Rock, which is the treasure he was looking for, and he then leaves. I feel like Platinum had a better story to it, because in Platinum, you would fight Mars and Jupiter at the entrance, and their team is the same as in Spear Pillar, except their Bronzor evolve into Bronzong for that fight, and you don't fight them in a Double Battle, and Charon would be the one leading Team Galactic, you don't ever fight Charon in this game, it is strange their neither Charon or Looker ever appear, they weren't in Diamond & Pearl, and this game is a remake of those games and not Platinum, but it still feels strange to have a Pokémon game where Looker doesn't appear, because he appeared in every main series Pokémon game ever since his debut, except for HeartGold & SoulSilver, and Sword & Shield.
What would happen is when you enter the room where Buck collects the treasure, Looker would arrest Charon, and you leave Stark Mountain. As for their appearances, you first meet Looker in Jubilife City, and he would appear throughout the adventure whenever Team Galactic is involved, and with Charon, he would first appear in the Valley Windworks when you would fight Mars, and he is next seen in the deepest part of Team Galactic HQ when you fight Saturn, and another bit of trivia, Charon's Japanese name is Pluto, Charon being the largest moon on Pluto, and the reason behind the change was to prevent copyright with Disney, which was why his name is Charon in English, his name is Pluto in other languages.
