R-Type Final 2 Stage 1.0 with Ragnarok R-Typer

This is a ship from R-Type III: The Third Lightning. The Shadow Force is supposed to be a human made Force without any Bydo components. The red weapon fires a couple of lasers in front of the Force and two that bend behind it. The blue weapon fires forward with a pair of shadow units shooting directions dependent on where you've moved your ship. The yellow weapon fires lasers up and down from the Force with the shadow units firing forward. The Shadow Force gets recalled to the ship faster than most of the other Forces in the game. When detached, the shadow units from the Force will fire in a direction opposite from where you last moved. Missiles are standard homing, good for anything. The Wave Cannon is a rapid fire burst from R-Type III, but it's not as strong as it was in that game, and you don't have the long cool down when finishing it. While shooting the rapid fire wave cannon, the Bits will spin around the ship like they did in R-Type III.
This stage is an abandoned space station overtaken by the Bydo, with Dobkeratops at the end. Dobkeratops fires strings of ball lasers at your ship until you damage it enough for it to shoot its charge laser. There is a safe spot near the top close to where Dobkeratops' tendrils begin, so if you can't kill it, you can wait up there to time the boss out.
I own R-Type III: The Third Lightning on a reproduction cart and I've played it on a clone hardware Super Nintendo I own. I had a hard time with it, mostly because crashing into the environment was still a thing in the game. Also, the environment itself spends a lot of its time trying to kill you, and I didn't like that. Some of the stages, like the second stage, were gorgeous, especially the boss. The copy of the game I have fires Bydo sperm cells at you instead of eyeballs. The fourth stage from R-Type III has an homage in R-Type Final 2, and was the first stage released back when the game was still new. The ship from R-Type III was split into the Strike Bomber, Ragnarok, and Ragnarok II in R-Type Final to nerf its insane power.
