0After passing through the door in the hidden underground area of Wish House orphanage, Henry and Eileen end up back at the spiral staircase and end up descending into prison structure where Henry had previously met Andrew DeSalvo shortly before he found his corpse with two still being mercilessly pursued by an adult Walter Sullivan. Due to her injuries, Eileen is unable to follow Henry through the corpse disposal holes needed to access the lower half of the prison, forcing him to navigate the structure on his own as he once again confronts numerous monsters roaming the building and eventually runs into Andrew who, just like Cynthia and Jasper before him, came back as a violent ghost. While returning to room 302 which is still infested with increasingly disturbing supernatural phenomena, Henry finds another message from Joseph slipped under his door whose contents reveal more details about Walter's life; Soon after he was born, his biological parents abandoned him within South Ashfield Heights' room 302 where he was found by Frank Sunderland and handed over to the local hospital that sent him off to Wish House Orphanage. As the result, Walter was raised with the cult's indoctrination ever-present, learning of his origins at the age of six. Due to his juvenile mindset at the time, Walter wrongfully believed that the room 302 itself was his birth mother and spent his childhood travelling to South Ashfield Heights on his own once a week in order to try and "wake her up"...
