Silent Hill 4: The Room Walkthrough Part 11: Return To The Building World
Upon leaving the prison structure, Henry and Eileen descend another section of the spiral staircase and end up back in nightmarish version of Downtown Ashfield where they quickly encounter Richard Braintree who also came back as a ghost. After being forced to leave Eileen alone for a short while, Henry proceeds to navigate the nightmarish streets of Downtown Ashfield on his own, quickly finding adult Walter Sullivan talking to his younger self. During the conversation, adult Walter tells his younger self that it is time to complete 21 sacraments before forcefully taking him along to "meet their mother". Eventually, Henry regroups with Eileen with two proceeding to navigate out of the alternate reality while evading more monsters and ghosts, soon finding what appears to be the exit back to the spiral staircase. However, once they go through the door, Henry and Eileen find themselves in the room full of identical monsters adhered to its walls with Henry soon realizing that attacking only one of the multiple monsters can kill them all at once, using that knowledge to kill the creatures and reveal another door that takes him and Eileen back to the staircase.
Upon returning to room 302 to resupply and take care of any supernatural phenomena that may have manifested while he was gone, Henry finds two more paper scraps pushed under his door. First is continuation of Joseph's previous message, revealing that Walter's weekly visits to South Ashfield Heights eventually started to annoy the building's tenants, causing them to become hostile towards him whenever he came by with young Walter starting to hate them in return, seeing the building's tenants as obstacles preventing him from meeting his "mother". As Walter grew older, The Order's teachings started to increasingly influence his way of thinking with his research of their scriptures eventually leading him to discover the ritual of descent of the Holy Mother and related ritual of 21 sacraments which he planned to perform in hopes of reuniting with his mother. Soon afterwards, Walter, now a young adult, left the Wish House orphanage and moved to the town of Pleasant River in order to attend college with this area also having been where his ritualistic killing spree started a decade prior. Second paper scrap is revealed to be a list of Walter's victims which contains another horrifying revelation for Henry; Him and Eileen have been chosen to become two final victims of his killing spree, serving as "mother" and "receiver of wisdom" respectively...
