Out of the mesh vert snap error backtracking and back on to refinements in Zbrush. Managed to manually re-align as best I could both left and right side of the face without any catastrophic vert merge failures on the rigged mesh. Then once mirroring out the face use some small sculpt edits to soften out the forms and relocate the eyebrows a bit. After that walked the current state of it back over into CC4 for auto correcting the eye blink and messing around with some of the pre-set expressions too see how they will work with these new Sonic-like character deformations same as I tested with Bunnie from before. Its super creepy but an important step in fitting these humanoid pre-rigged skins over onto more cartoony creatures.

If you are a CC4 user you may wanna follow this whole process just to keep up with some success stories, missteps and backtracks. There will be plenty of mistakes made I assure you but the point is taking advantage of these pre-rigged humanoids, putting your own new bones and appendages on them and still retaining CC4s built in facial rigging if you are like me, a character modeler/texturer with no animation chops whatsoever.
