Hey, welcome back to game development diaries on Khud0 - Indie Game Dev channel! In this devlog series, I'm going to show you how I made "Blow & Fly", a physics-based platformer in which you move and aim at the same time.
I'm making this platformer in Unity, and I'm constantly recording the progress I make. In order to stay on track and follow some general "vision" while working on my projects, I try to decide what's happening in them as early as possible.
In this Unity 2D platformer you play as a fish which needs to get to a water source because its aquarium got destroyed. When you hit the floor, you replenish your water supply from the puddles left there. By blowing the liquid out of your mouth, you can move around and interact with the environment of this indie game.
Whether you're an indie gamedev yourself, or you're interested in games made with Unity for some other reason, I'm looking forward to seeing you in my next Unity devlog! Make sure to subscribe so that you don't miss it. ;)
