Three characters left, and the next character is Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, and he can be downloaded along with his home stage Midgar, and it only comes with two songs, so Final Fantasy had very poor representation throughout the Super Smash Bros. series, because in the base game for Ultimate, we didn't receive any new Final Fantasy content, because even in Ultimate, we only had two songs, it wasn't till the inclusion of Sephiroth that fixed Final Fantasy's poor representation by adding more songs into the game.
Cloud is placed 2nd in the tier list, his unique Limit Gauge can be filled up when he deals damage to his opponents, in this game, the Limit Gauge is not viewed unless you use Cloud's Limit Charge, I did like how in Ultimate, you can view the Limit Gauge above the damage meter, and when it is full, his special moves change.
Time to go over Classic Mode, in Rounds 1 to 3, you fight characters in their default costumes, in Rounds 4 and 5, you fight characters in their alternate costumes, in Round 6, you fight against the Fighting Mii Team, and in the final round, you fight Master Hand, and on Intensity 3.0 or higher, you fight Crazy Hand as well, and on an even higher Intensity, you fight Master Core.
Next is Cloud's special moves, and each of them do change when his Limit Gauge is full, his neutral special is Blade Beam, a projectile move that deals damage, and during Limit Break, the move hits multiple times. His side special is Cross Slash, where he performs a combo attack that hits up to three times, and the Limit Break version has Cloud use all five hits when used, even if you don't press any buttons. His up special is Climhazzard, while not the best for recovery, has him jump into the air, and if you press the B button again, Cloud comes downwards, and it does have a meteor effect, the Limit Break version gives him extra height, the move is very similar to Ike's Aether and Kirby's Final Cutter. Cloud's down special is Limit Charge, this is how you can charge your Limit Gauge, when it is full, he will use Finishing Touch, where he creates a whirlwind that only deals 1% damage, but it does have high knockback at higher percentages, to the point it can even KO opponents at around 70% damage.
Cloud's Final Smash is Omnislash, this move is similar in effect to Robin's Pair Up where Cloud charges at his opponent and slashes them repeatedly. Cloud has some alternate costumes based on Advent Children, and he is the only character to change his Final Smash during an update, in the initial release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Cloud's even numbered alternate costumes would use Omnislash, but after the DLC update that included Sephiroth, it was changed to Omnislash Ver. 5, which has a new animation.
