Next character I use is Pit, and he received a lot of changes from Brawl to this game, most of his moves are a reference to Kid Icarus: Uprising, which is a game Masahiro Sakurai worked on, and there were a lot of things from Kid Icarus: Uprising that are referenced in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U, and Pit did get some improvements in this game. In roster order, Pit is the first character on the third row, the last character on that row is Little Mac, it does have the same order where Little Mac is placed after Meta Knight, the difference is Duck Hunt Duo is not on that row.
Then to go over Classic Mode, in Rounds 1 to 3, you fight characters that use their default costumes, in Rounds 4 and 5, you fight characters that use their alternate costumes, in Round 6, you fight against the Fighting Mii Team, and in the final round, you fight Master Hand, or on a higher Intensity, you fight Crazy Hand as well, or on an even higher Intensity, you fight against Master Core.
Next is Pit's custom moves, as this is the only game in the series to have custom moves, his neutral special is Palutena Bow, this move was called Palutena's Arrow in Brawl, it was likely changed to reference Kid Icarus: Uprising, where bows are one of the weapons in that game. The first custom variant for that move is Piercing Bow, the shots takes longer to charge and cannot be guided, but they can pierce through opponents, and they deal more damage, and the other variant is Guiding Bow, where the arrow can easily be guided, but they have less power. Pit's side special is Upperdash Arm, which replaces Angel Ring in Brawl, which is a great improvement to Pit in this game, and it is one of my favourite moves to use when using Pit. The first custom variant for Upperdash Arm is Interception Arm, where Pit does not dash, instead it is a counterattack where Pit will uppercut the opponent if they try to attack him, and the other variant is Quickdash Arm, where Pit performs faster and longer dash that continues after the uppercut, making it harder to control. Then his up special is Power of Flight, which replaces Wings of Icarus, which was a reliable recovery move as it did allow Pit to move around while using it. The first custom variant is Striking Flight, where the angle of flight cannot be controlled as much, and it does deal damage during take off, and the other variant is Breezy Flight, which does not fly as far, the whirlwind created pushes opponents away. His down special is Guardian Orbitars, this is an improvement over Mirror Shield, because Mirror Shield protected Pit from attacks in front of him, but with Guardian Orbitars, they protect him on both sides. The first custom variant for that move is Impact Orbitars, which deal damage and knockback on opponents, but it cannot reflect projectiles or shield against attacks, and the other custom move is Amplifying Orbitars, which boosts the power of projectiles reflected, but the shields can easily be broken.
Pit is another character to have a different Final Smash in all of his playable appearance in the Super Smash Bros. series, in this game, his Final Smash is Three Sacred Treasures, where he shoots arrows out at opponents, and then finishes it off with large pillars of light coming down, which acts similarly to PK Starstorm in Brawl.
