I am using Ken for this Classic Mode video, the Echo Fighter to Ryu, but unlike other Echo Fighters, like Daisy and Richter, Ken is a very unique Echo Fighter, as most of his moves are much different to Ryu's moves. I randomize a list to decide my next few characters, the playlist will display the fighters in order of how they are displayed on the roster, and if the roster displayed the fighters in when they were revealed instead of placing Echo Fighters next to the original fighter, Ken would be placed between Isabelle and Incineroar, and while Ken was revealed in the same trailer as Incineroar, Ken was revealed first. Ken's Classic Mode route is Red-Hot Rivalry, and his opponents on his route are rivals to the main character from their home series.
To unlock Ken, there are many different ways, one of them is Vs. Matches, where Ken is the 57th character to be unlocked, and he is the last character unlocked by completing Classic Mode with Yoshi or anyone in his unlock tree after Chrom, which means Ken could be one of the final characters you can unlock in this game.
In Round 1, you fight against Dark Pit, and the stage is Palutena's Temple in Battlefield Form, in Round 2, you fight against Wolf, and the stage is Venom. In Round 3, you fight against Dark Samus, and the stage is Frigate Orpheon, in Round 4, you fight against Link using the Dark Link alternate costume on Temple, in Round 5, your opponent is Luigi, and the stage is Mario Bros., this could be a reference to Luigi being the player 2 character in Mario Bros., and in Round 6, you fight against Ryu on Suzaku Castle, a reference to Ken's rivalry with Ryu.
Next is the Bonus Stage, and at the end, you fight against Crazy Hand, Ken is one of two playable characters to fight Crazy Hand by himself, but if you are playing on Intensity 7.0 or higher, you fight against Master Hand as well.
After that, the credits will roll, and the music is Ken Stage from Street Fighter, it uses the remix from Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U, and you then unlock the Fighter Spirit for Ken if you completed Classic Mode with him for the first time. Ken's Classic Mode is all about rivals, and he doesn't fight Meta Knight or Wario as opponents, and Wario would make way more sense than Luigi, as Luigi isn't really Mario's rival.
