#SuperOldGameSaturday - The Nintendo Gamecube Preview Disc

Happy New Year, everyone. Were entering our 5th full year here at #SuperOldGameSaturday and, to start 2025, we have our first full look at a demo disc with a game that was a viewer donation. Ultra94T graciously provided the Nintendo Gamecube Preview Disc, a 2003 release that was sold in stores with videos and playable demos of upcoming games for Nintendo's first optical disc-based console and we went through everything on this. OK, I couldn't show off the two Game Boy Advance downloadable games here and I had to mute the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3 trailer (which I mistakenly didn't during the live show), but I found another way to cover the former with more than even the demos of the two games here provide and for the latter, the full trailer with sound IS linked below. As far as everything else, myself and the best chat on Twitch went into our memories and thoughts on the games here, the headlines of which were the playable demos of Namco's Soul Calibur 2, Capcom's Viewtiful Joe, Ubi Soft's Splinter Cell and Sega's Sonic Adventure DX and Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. We also started using new sound equipment for this first show of the new year (though we had audio problems with them again near the end that I'm working on fixing for future shows), so this was a big kick-off to 2025 that I had a great time doing and I once again thank Ultra94T for providing this release to us and to all of you for joining us on our first (but most certainly not last) demo disc show.
