The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind | Umbra
#elderscrolls #letsplay #nocommentary
I met with Serjo Avon Oran who explained that the bandits were hiding out in Saturan which was just north. I headed out to take care of the issue and when I entered the cave I encountered some slaves. It has been some time since I've helped out with the slavery issue in Vvardenfell. I freed the captive Khajiit and Argonians but I noticed one Argonian that didn't have a slave bracer on. I wonder what was up with that?
I brought down the bandit and on my way back to Suran I encountered an Orc. He was nameless but decided to call himself Umbra after his sword. He's accomplished many things and seems to have been everywhere, done it all, seen it all. Now he's just looking for a warriors death and asks if I could be the one to best him in combat. I agreed and we crossed blades. He was a formidable opponent, I brought out a spear to bring him down and my prize was his blade: the Umbra Sword
I returned to Oran and I collected 1000 gold. Then I wanted to rest after roaming around for a while and I was once again assaulted in my sleep by these dark brotherhood assassins! It seems that if I don't resolve this soon I may never know peace when sleeping. When I returned to Percius he gave me a load of Flin and sent me to deliver these to a cave. I was a bit lost trying to find it but the load was delivered with little to no issues. By the time I got back, I wanted to test something, I laid down to rest and was assaulted once more!
It seems that whoever wants me dead needs time to prepare more assassins! These weapons are unique though I've never seen adamantium before. Regardless, I'll have to be mindful and prepare for a conflict before resting. Percius gave me Cyrodiilic brandy for my efforts. Being an Imperial himself we both sat down for a drink. Remembering the busy streets of the Imperial City, the cold winds of Bruma, and the sheer beauty of Cheydenhal. My home is in Kvatch. Percius wouldn't tell me where he was from.
After our drinks, he had another task: kill Lorbumol in Vivec. Well then, it would seem there is no other option. Sjoring and whatever supporters he has left must perish. We talked for a long time about other solutions but this seems to be the only way. I sobered up and made my way to Vivec. Lorbumol saw me coming and assumed that I wanted to take over the guild as Guildmaster. Rank never mattered to me, I just wanted to be part of an organization that best utilized my skills. A place away from home that I could call home.
His body lay there. I thought of all the times we would practice proper weapon swings. How he was more than happy to take my weapons and give me a little gold for lessons that I needed. Sjoring was right there in the other room. I wonder what's going through his head? I left Vivec and went back to Ald'ruhn and received my final task: kill Sjoring Hard-Heart, leader of the Fighters Guild.
