I made my way to Vivec to confront Sjoring. Everything was considered and this was the only way of making things right. "Right" is a very loose term here being that life has to be taken considering the actions that Sjoring took to put himself in this position. I entered his room and we engaged in small talk. I called his mother a fat Argonian Wh*re and that's when he picked up his hammer and swung at me. For being head of a guild that specializes in physical combat, he didn't last very long.

With his death, I made my way back to Jim and he named me master of the Thieves Guild. Said he was gonna retire somewhere and then handed me the legendary artifact: the Skeleton Keys. I gave my thanks and went back to Percius who then gave me the rank of master for the Fighters Guild. I decided to join one of the Great Houses to further expand my horizons. Hlaalu engages in political debate and multiculturalism which is fine in Cyrodiil where the grand majority of transactions happen. It doesn't exactly work in Vvardenfell because the ashlanders are not too welcoming to outlanders as I've experienced myself.

House Telvanni is a flawed organization from the get-go from my perspective. Nothing is really stopping someone well-equipped and powerful to just walk into any tower and slaughter the inhabitants. As I understand, rank is based on power, the Telvanni mantra can be summed up as "Might makes Right". So that leaves House Redoran which focuses on the traditions of the Dunmer people. So I joined them and right away I was sent to help out a farmer with her Guar. I had already done so then I was sent to find a pilgrim who never showed up in Maar Gan.

The people talked about an ash storm and assumed he took refuge so I looked for any nearby caves and there he was. After escorting him safely and returning to Ald'ruhn, I was made to go to Balmora and get back a helm that was stolen by someone in House Hlaalu. I found the guy in the Eight-Plates Inn and despite convincing him to return the helm, he still felt the need to make crude remarks. I asked if he could back up his words and we fought to the death. I was not meant to bring shame to my House so I let him have the first strike.

The Guar herder was having issues with bandits so I agreed to assist her again. One quick cleanup of bandits and she and her beasts were saved once more. Neminda quickly asked me to find Athyn and protect him from oncoming attackers. I'm not sure who would make an attempt at his life but I knew I needed to make my way there. Upon arriving I saw two corpses on the ground and when I asked if Athyn was alright two attackers came into his home. I dealt with them and Athyn was thankful for my being there. Neminda had nothing left for me to do so I left and sought out the old man from the small fishing village in the North-west of Vvardenfell. I wonder if he has more tasks for me...
