The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion | A Twisted Turn of Events

I was heading south toward Bravil. I'd been here once to sell off some equipment but now I'm here to see if there's work to be done. I never really liked this place, it feels dirty to be in, but it's definitely one of the worst cities in all of Cyrodiil. I asked around town but seemingly there were not a whole lot of things happening here until I reached the church.
A woman named Ursanne told me that her husband had been missing for some time after getting some debt from gambling at the Arena. She says her husband went to someone named Kurdan who wasn't known to be a patient person. I met with the Orc who told me to send Aleron to a place to search for an axe. I requested that he allow me to assist Aleron as the task sounded too dangerous. Kurdan agreed to let me go and prepared a boat for me to get to the island quickly.
I made it to the fort and there was Aleron who told me that there was never an axe. This was a scam to lead idiots to the fort where they were trapped and forced to go through the place while avoiding the hunters. I tell Aleron to stay put while I go find a way to unlock the gates. The hunters were nothing special, just people killing enthusiasts who had little to no combat abilities due to their picking on weaker opponents. Dispatching them was no problem but I still couldn't find a switch to open the gate...
I stepped out of the door only to find Aleron being killed by Kurdan. I'm ashamed that I didn't move faster. Despite my best efforts, this damn Orc was going to change the rules since he was losing. I had to avenge Aleron and defeat Kurdan. After I slew the Orc I took the key from his corpse which opened the door that was locked in the fort. Inside was the switch to open the gate. I returned to Bravil with grave news.
I informed Ursanne and she already knew what I was going to say. It was written all over my face and I felt dreadful. It seems that no matter how power I have some things simply can not be avoided. Yet that isn't a good enough reason to stop trying to do the right thing. I took the reward and was on my way. I then heard an interesting rumor of a ghost haunting the area nearby. Since I also found all six bottles of Shadowbanish wine, I figured it would be a good time to turn those in.
