The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion | The Spooky Manor

I went into Skingrad with the intention of being trained by the advanced block trainer, Ambroise Canne. Unfortunately, he had no intention of training anyone while he was busy. He kept saying to check back later but anytime I did he was busy with something. Seems like he doesn't want to be disturbed. I decided to spend that time honing my other skills instead in a nearby mine.
The Cursed Mine is home to bandits along with plenty of veins of silver. There is quick money to be made here along with whatever weapons or armor these bandits are carrying. After a long day of spelunking, I went back to Canne to see if he was finally available to train me. Near midnight he was ready for training which was great because I had grown somewhat weary from waiting.
I enjoy my little shack at the waterfront but I did buy that manor. I went to Anvil to rest in my new home. My rest would be short-lived because I was attacked by several ghosts. I curse myself for not carrying enough silver arrows to combat these horrible apparitions that plague my new home. I cleared out the ghosts and searched everywhere only to find a skeletal hand with a note regarding the Benirus family. I had to find the man who sold me this home and demand an explanation.
Upon making it to the Imperial City I made a stop at the Arena. Say what you will, there is always time to enter a match. It's not like the ghosts are pouring into the streets and terrorizing the gold folks there. My opponent was a fierce Orc who knew how to wield that glass hammer. I was somewhat envious that he had such a weapon of high quality but there was little time for that as he was some sort of berserker.
I would eventually find the man in one of the inns and I pressed him for answers...
