I went back to the Imperial City. Upon getting there I wasted no time in seeing myself in the Arena. My opponent used the standard sword and shield to combat me. Victory was simple for me and I moved on to the next task I had in mind. I left the city to head west again but not back to Skingrad. I wanted to visit Anvil and then Kvatch to see if there was any chance that my home and mother were still there.

It was foolish of me to sincerely think that my mother could still be alive despite all the years I spent in prison after my adventure in Vvardenfell. I went past Kvatch. On the chance that since it is night time, I wouldn't be able to see my mother and so I went straight to Anvil. I couldn't help but keep looking in the direction of Kvatch. I had to trust that I'll make my way there soon.

I made it to Anvil and took a rest, in the morning I asked around town regarding news about anything. Apparently, there was an attack at the chapel church. I went to see for myself but the smell and sight were horrifying. Such gruesome acts were committed in a holy place. I went to the docks to seek out more info but all I found was a High Elf named Varulae who pleaded with me to go into the ship and look for her crystal ball.

I ended up finding out that she didn't do it herself as the ship was filled with the ghosts of the dead crew. I had very limited options on how to deal with ghosts but after spending the entire morning I had finally collected her crystal ball and returned it to her. She was most grateful and gave me a power saber called "Redwave". It is a fine blade and I may have to carry it with me everywhere.

I finally went back to the inn where I met with Velwyn Benirus who was selling his family's manor for a measly 5000 gold. I bought it without hesitation and went to see what my new purchase looked like. I planned to sleep in it but I had wasted enough time and I left Anvil to go to Kvatch. I saw that there was black smoke coming from the direction of my destination. I hurried as fast as I could and just before going up that winding road A man stopped me.

He screamed and yelled how Deadra came in and attacked the city under the cover of night. I did not know how to react to any of this information...
