I headed West towards Charrol. There is another Ayleid ruin that has a statue. I stopped walking along the main road for I have grown somewhat annoyed at the seemingly endless problem that is bandits. Wendir is the next Ayleid ruin that I'll be plunging into to see if the statue's prize is there. Skeletons and spirits roam these halls and I had to put my basic magic to use.

Thankfully there was a statue and thus I left the ruin with another bag of loot. I must say, I am massing quite the amount of gold. Perhaps I could own some land after all. I returned to the Umbacano manor and sold the statue. I was eager to get back out there and find the next statue so that I could buy some land and put away some of these welkynd stones.

My next encounter in the Arena was an easy one. Not much more to go on about it. After I unburned myself of needless items I soon left once more in search of another ruin. I soon found myself in a grove and encountered a minotaur. I was shocked to see one out here but then I recall a rumor I heard many years ago. In a certain part of Cyrodiil, there is a grove and in said area, there is a unicorn that is protected by two minotaurs.

Perhaps the rumor is real? I didn't check to see if the unicorn was around but I pressed onward. Wenyandawik is the next area to check. I have to wonder if they had the same architect when constructing these ruins. While consistency is great in my eyes I must wonder if any of the residents got confused due to the similar structure of these ruins. Regardless, I found another statue and ran back.

I feel that I am getting better and faster at finding these statues. collecting two in such a short span has got my spirits high and now I can finally afford a home. I went to the Office of Imperial Commerce to purchase a home. Sadly it would appear that the only property available would be the shack down at the waterfront. I bought it anyway and sought to furnish it immediately.

I might be living in a shack but there is no reason to just be satisfied with it. I went to Three Brothers Trade Goods and met with the brother who sold furnishings for my little hovel. Excitedly, I went back to the waterfront only to be pestered by this horrible dark elf sailor. I grew tired of her consistent badgering of not getting near her ship. So as the immature adventurer that I am, I stepped onto her ship and everyone drew their blades on me. Thankfully the Imperial guards saw that I was being attacked and came to my aid.

With all that nastiness resolved I stepped into my home and was greeted with a humble little furnished home that I could call my own. I put away all the things that I wouldn't be needing and went back outside to check on the ship which now has a dead crew. The ship will be an eyesore for the next few months but I'm sure someone will eventually report it and find a way to get rid of it.
