I went in for another round of battle in the Arena. Not using either a sword or shield does put me at a slight disadvantage but this is the way of the fighter. Glory through my own fists. With the occasional use of restoration magic. I would be a fool to not utilize all to my advantage but I won't be using everything.

After my match, I met with Umbacano once more to sell him the statue. He then names 5 additional locations where I can potentially obtain more statues. This is great news, however, there is still the question of the other statues that are part of the set he's completing. I will have to find the other three independently if I want to fully complete the collection.

While searching for another Ayleid ruin, I came across a cave. I figured there could be something that could assist me in my journey to finding more statues so I ventured in, only to be assaulted by numerous goblins. While everything else was mundane, there were magical arrows. I picked those up and kept them just in case.

I met with a small family on the side of the road and chatted with them. They mentioned that they acquired some land but it is infested with goblins. No doubt these must be the same goblins coming from that cave that I cleared not too long ago. They wanted help in reclaiming their homestead and while I said yes, I urged them to wait for a while. I will not make the same mistakes again in getting sidetracked and piling on the amount of tasks that I need to get done. One at a time damnit.

Fort Cedrain was next to the road I was on while being assaulted by bandits. This Shadowbanish wine better be in here. Alas, it was not. There is much of the cave I cannot explore due to being a poor lockpick. I must regain that skill and press on to the depths of these forts. On the main road, there is nothing but bandits and highwaymen ready to steal my coin at any cost. I grow weary of their everlasting presence and wonder why the patrolmen aren't doing anything to handle this insane amount of robbers.

I saw something in the swamp and made my way to the ruins called Welke. It is within these ruins that I've found my third Ayleid statue! Things are looking up for me. With my accumulating wealth I may be able to purchase some land and live in a proper home. Not unlike my squatting in a dead man's home back in Vvardenfell though I do miss that place.
