While returning to the city I came across a Barren Cave. Within these natural walls were vampires. Fighting can be described as nothing short of annoying. On top of their superhuman strength, they also seemingly have an endless supply of magic, allowing them to constantly conjure up undead spawns for me to deal with while they pick away at me with magic or ranged weaponry. I'll see no end to these unholy creatures.

I arrived in the city and rested. As per usual, I sold the statue, hauled off my goods, and looked around to stock up on any supplies I may need. I went back to the Arena for another match. I went up against a Breton who wielded a sword and shield. The battle was simple enough and I collected my gold. I set off once more to the mountains where I may find the last two statues.

Ninendava was full of undead creatures but nothing different than the usual. I kept at it and found the ninth statue. It won't be long now before I finish the whole set. These last ruins really make me question the entire design philosophy of these Ayleids. Why would they make nothing but traps in places that they resided in? I can assume that they dwelled in the plains outside of the ruins but otherwise why? Did they truly have a fascinating treasure that they had to create an entire room filled with gas?

My patience for the elves is slowly diminishing and I will be happy to take these last two statues to the buyer and be done with this madness. Upon my return, I was rewarded with an additional 5,000 gold for making sure that the set was completed. I finally asked about the other task that I should do and Umbacano wants me to go to another ruin but this time I'm looking for a unique panel. I'm not sure what that's about but I'll soon figure it out...
