The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion | All's Well That Ends Well

The next person who I should be keeping tabs on is a man called Toutius. I don't know much about this person, unlike Bernadette who is well-liked by the town, Toutius is more unknown in comparison. Nonetheless, I can't rule out that he might actually be dangerous for Glarthir. Toutius is a rude man, granted I did lift his bottle of wine but apparently, that alone is enough to call the guards on me.
After returning from the Skingrad prison I had to keep a close eye on this horseshit of a person. He went to the castle and mingled around with the other folks in the common area. I observed him, listened to every conversation he had, and kept track of all his movements, and yet there was nothing. He might be a rude bastard but there was nothing that would say he was a threat to Glarthir.
He tends to end the day riding his horse until dusk. When he finally went home I reported once more to Glarthir and said that he was suspicious. While I was able to confirm he did nothing of the sort, I just simply don't like the guy. Glarthir seemed to be ecstatic when I told him my report and he paid me once more. Finally, I am to follow David Surilie of the Surilie Wine. Glarthir makes it sound like this is the big one so I am to be extra careful.
The lack of sleep had finally caught up to me and so I decided to rest and awake before David did. Outside of the Surilie home, I saw David go out and I went into his house. His brother was there and I checked around to see if there was anything suspicious. I found nothing and quickly went to see what David was up to. I felt tired watching him work like a mule all day. He certainly deserves the wealth he earns from all the hard work he puts in.
Once more I find myself at odds. All three of the suspects have not shown anything that would suggest that there is a conspiracy towards Glarthir. These are all ordinary people just leading their lives as they see fit and only Glarthir has an issue with it. I returned to Glarthir and gave my report. I had a bad feeling so I did say that David was guilty. Glarthir then revealed his intentions: he wanted me to kill all three of them.
This was a step too far. I was wrong for accusing them but they have done nothing to warrant their deaths. I decided to report this to Dion and he handled it from there. Glarthir turned up dead and I went into his home. What could this Wood Elf possibly have that could warrant such paranoia? In the end, I found nothing. I stepped out into the streets of Skingrad and pondered on this strange turn of events.
