The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion | The Master Alchemist

I decided to think about this dilemma. Umbacano's tasks have put my life at risk by default and I knew that, but to hire another treasure hunter to improve his chances at finding his "artifacts" and no cooperation? Ridiculous I say. I decided it would be wise to spend my time elsewhere and let his other treasure hunter find what he wanted. Claude will get what's coming to him soon enough I feel.
I do have this interesting root in my possession, but before I went to do anything with it, I participated in another battle at the Arena. This was another promotion match. I was warned that my opponent uses both melee and ranged methods of combat. I can only do close-quarter combat so I decided to rush him and not allow him the chance to attack me with any ranged methods he has.
All the alchemists I spoke to regarding this "Nirnroot," called it and told me to seek out the master alchemist who lives in Skingrad. I haven't been to Skingrad in a long time so I started heading there in hopes of finding whatever this root is. I'm not an alchemist nor do I aspire to be one. I just find it strange that there is a plant that produces a light and a strange sound. This is an opportunity to learn more about the world I live in.
I had forgotten how beautiful Skingrad can be. I went into the local shops for information and to be prepared for anything to ensure that I was ready for any task that could be available. I met with Sinderion, the alchemist who could assist me (Or rather I could assist him) in understanding this unusual root. He tells me to find 10 samples so that he can produce something with it. I do just that and behold, the issue: I must find 20 more of this root. I'm afraid I may need more than just 20.
So I leave him to it and go out to find more of this root. I read the missive and learned a bit more about the Nirnroot. I am to search near areas where there is water. Logically I thought it sounded to start at the end of the river that goes into the Topal Sea and search along the river. Bandits, Imps, and other creatures stood in my way but they were getting easier to handle. It seems that I'll be doing field work for the next few days so anything notable will become something of a rarity...
