I took a moment to rest. I then started making my way back to where I was before I made the detour but I stopped by a place called Fatback Cave. Within the cave, I encountered many Goblins and fought them off. I then questioned myself: "These guys aren't too far off from being treated as normal citizens of Nirn..."

Think about it, history will tell you that both Orcs and Lizardmen (Similar to Argonians) were considered to be enemies and to be killed on sight, much like rats or ghosts. How far off are Goblins from getting those very same rights? Sure they would need to have complex levels of thought other than acting on their animalistic needs, but they still have some levels of civility to them.

They keep pens of rats either as a source of food or as pets. I recall during my trip to Mournhold I bought a rat to keep me company in the sewers. There may come a point where Goblins will be treated on equal footing like the rest of men and mer, but until then they are filthy savages. All these thoughts made me want to meditate so I retreated back to my little shack and took rest.

I awoke feeling stronger and decided to have a battle in the Arena before resuming my fieldwork. My opponent had a magical dagger that didn't give him any tactical advantage. After my victory, I went to the best defense as I heard that there was an advanced trainer in Heavy Armor. I asked for some tips here and there and he was happy to teach me. Finally, I went back to the area where I was getting over-encumbered and entered the Fort that I had an interest in seeing.

Fort Aurus was home to many magicians all ready to fight to the death to protect their research. I didn't have much of an interest in their work but they stood in the way and were hostile so I slew them. I would eventually find something that ran my blood ice cold. A Deadra. Out in the open. This was no summoned Deadra either, this runt came from somewhere and I had a bad feeling about it.

Thankfully it was only that runt but I couldn't progress further into the fort due to my weak skills as a lockpick. Amazingly though I found two bottles of Shadowbanish Wine. Only four left to go! I figured now would be a good time to check in on the master alchemist to see if that potion was ready. On my way back I was attacked by a Minotaur and right behind it was the Mythical Unicorn.

"What rotten luck I have!"

This was a deadly encounter, that unicorn was too much for me to handle at the moment so I ran away, but my legs failed me and the Unicorn insisted on seeing me dead. As I was running I soon came across a noblewoman on horseback with her entourage with her. One of those guards ran to assist me in dealing with this creature. We both fought but the guard was slain and I finished off the Unicorn.

I took the prize which was the horn of the unicorn and the silver blade that weakened the beast. I could not find the noblewoman after that so I proceeded on my trip to Skingrad. I was stopped by a man named Glarthir, who told me to meet him behind the church. I paid him no mind and went on with what I needed to do. A short meeting with the alchemist and he produced a spectacular potion that would no doubt be of help.

I felt eager to find more of the Nirnroot to see what comes out of this.
