I resumed my search for the Nirnroots. I had a good feeling that I would be finished soon. The Mudcrabs of Cyrodiil are less threatening than their variants in Vvardenfell. These crabs are much skinnier and they don't have much power behind their attacks. Fighting them is child's play yet I must see it as an opportunity to regain my strength.

I found a place called Newt Cave. Perhaps there are Argonians here? Instead of lizards, I find Imps in their place. I grow weary of fighting these avian creatures. I need a better way of handling them. Perhaps now would be a good time to work on my marksmanship? I ran out of lockpicks once again and some treasures will not be seeing the light of day thanks to my pitiful skills.

I came across another place called Shinbone Cave. A somewhat ominous name but I went in anyway. Goblins seem to have a fascination with lockpicks so there's always some on their bodies when I pillage their corpse for goods. It is thanks to them that I was able to feel a bit more comfortable with picking locks. I need to get used to the feeling of lockpicking if I ever want to collect treasures. I am always amused by how these Goblins handle their way of life.

I'm sure they have no clue on how to smith a sword but when it comes to creating armor, they stick with bone armor. It is effective but my mind wanders back to what I was thinking just yesterday. These creatures seemingly can have complex thoughts based on their environment but it's still not enough to give them the same status as Orcs. Perhaps one day?

I resumed collecting Nirnroot when I saw a burnt-down building. I searched around and found some potions of fire resistance. This building seems to have been a store that sold items for alchemy. Perhaps the alchemist set the store on fire by accident or maybe the store wanted to test the effectiveness of his potions. Judging that the potions were well intact I want to say that the individual that made them is still alive.

I made a quick stop at the Imperial City thanks to an encounter with a diseased creature. I'm not sure why I can no longer resist all diseases. Perhaps that wizard found a way to permanently remove the side effects of the cure Corprus potion I took when I was with Fyr. Either way, this is a problem and it seems that the cost of these disease-removing potions has gone up in value... After finding what I needed I resumed my search and it soon ended as I found what I thought I needed. 90 Nirnroots.
