The KO #48 - Shishin can throw his sword and finish with his fists in PS1 Suiko Enbu
3This is me trying out the first character, Shishin (apparently called Shi Jin in the non-Japanese region versions of the game, which was also called Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty, or Dark Legend on the Saturn), in Data East's PS1 fighting game Suiko Enbu--specifically, playing the "Special" mode, which has a few more moves for the characters, and also seems to be a little easier than the "Arcade" mode.
This game is rad! So many kick-ass characters and moves. You can throw your weapon! Then you have to fight the rest of the match bare-handed (this can also happens if you block too much and your weapon gets worn down and breaks : o), which is actually kind of cool because although you may lose some range and moves, you do get lots of cool, fast bare-handed moves instead. : D
I had so many close calls in this try with Shishin! Man! So fun. That guy on the horse didn't seem to know what to do with fireballs, but otherwise there were a lot of intense battles!
