The last time I beat super-Rugal in Capcom vs. SNK 2 was in the English version on PS3 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z57xor2lbic ) where he was known as "U .Rugal" (the awkwardly abbreviated "U ." standing for "Ultimate," apparently), but now I'm back to it in its less-input-laggy actual PS2 version, Japanese region, and he's back to his more proper "G .Rugal"--"God"--status!

I hadn't beat him here yet and I particularly wanted to do that to unlock his (or Shin Akuma/Gouki's) "Osaka: Flaming City" stage for Vs. CPU play--it also unlocks him as selectable character in the random character select I use there, which is awkward since he's incredibly overpowered, but CvS2 has tons of characters and modes and systems but not really very many stages at all, so it was totally worth it. : P

I guess I've got my laming this out down to a fairly efficient system now: set difficulty and speed to their lowest setting (1:45), go through Arcade mode with a ratio 4 King (3:00), using her "Trap Shot" (always sounds like "Crack Shot" to me : p) to rack up the required 1500 Groove Points thanks to its high combo bonus (I was mostly accidentally using her Medium attack rather than her Heavy which would have notched 2.5 more GP per Trap Shot, oops : p; I suppose I also could have racked up more GP if I'd set the Damage to the lowest setting rather than the highest, but I didn't want this to take all day : ppp), then, if the boss beats her, switching (after a failed experiment : PP) to ratio 4 Zangief (20:52) to take him out by rolling (in N Groove, in this case) up to him and just regular throwing him (because I can't do Zangief's command throws reliably : pp). And I hadn't finished the game in a while so I also sat through the intro (0:45) and the ending sequence and credits (22:18).

(It's random whether you get God Rugal or Shin Akuma/Gouki.)

Recorded with PS2 to Framemeister to Elgato HD60.
