It embodies the “personal horror” that Nakanishi wanted to create, and the result is a game that revolutionized the Resident Evil series when it launched five years ago.
A lot of that is due to the first-person camera, but there are other amazing additions too. This video is all about those big changes, like playable VHS tapes, the charismatic Baker family, and traditional game mechanics repurposed for a more homespun horror experience.
