Truffle Oil Garlic Confit is AMAZING!! | #recipe #shorts
I’ve always loved making Garlic Confit! Normally I’m using olive oil, but this version was just so much better!!
The ending may show a hint of the first thing I tried with this 😉
And as a fair warning, your entire house is going to smell like truffles and garlic… so take that as you will 😂
Ingredients:
• small oven safe bowl
• peeled garlic cloves
• a few sprigs of fresh thyme
• truffle oil, I used @sauce brand for this
• salt and pepper - optional
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 200F, if your oven runs cool, set to 225F.
2. Peel your garlic, and leave them whole. Grab the oven safe container and place in the sprigs of thyme then fill it all the way up with cloves, leaving about 1/2 an inch or more space above.
3. Top it off with oil, making sure all the cloves are covered! Use a spoon or butter knife to carefully move them around if needed!
4. I like to season with some salt and pepper, the. Pop in the oven for 2-3 hours!
5. Let the container cook slightly, and your all set to use both the oil and garlic to enhance your favorite dish!!
