The perfect breakfast has been found! Today I decided to use Cowboy Butter to elevate an already amazing breakfast combo in Steak and Eggs!

Here is the full recipe so you can make this yourself and enjoy one of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had!

1 stick of butter, softened
3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
Zest of 1/2 a lemon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp thyme
1 tbsp chives
1-2 tbsp parsley

1 ny strip
3 eggs

Start by making the butter. To do so, just mix all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Set this aside while we prep the steak.

Season the steak on all sides with salt and pepper. Then bring a skillet with avacado oil or beef tallow up to med high temp, and add your steak in.

Cook the steak for about 2-3 mins per side depending on the thickness. Once you are about 15-20 degrees under the finishing temp you want, lower the heat to medium and add about half of the Cowboy butter to the pan.

Once the butter starts to foam, use it to baste the steak. Do this for 30-45 secs.

Add in the eggs, and once the steak hits 125-129, remove it from the pan and let it rest.

Continue to baste the eggs until the egg white are cooked through. Then slice the steak, add it back to the pan to garnish and serve!
