This is arguably the toughest non-boss segment in the game. Taken as a whole the Abandoned Mines B2 is harder, but you can save throughout it. This entire segment has to be done in a single run.

The first thing I do is switch my new Framea Pole to my Light spear. This isn't a permanent assignment, but I know it's the only weapon I'll be using in the Undercity East. It's important to get to the point where I can two-shot the Liches without debuffs, so I can kill them before their first turn.

5:23 The Harpies are easier in this run than in some of my other challenge runs, because of the range of my spears. It's important to keep them in mind as a threat, though, because they know Curse and Banish, both of which are essentially an instant loss under these run conditions.

5:53 The execution on the first lich is perfect. 8:15 The second one... I make a fairly major mistake because I was recording. I was trying to save myself from having to recover the 15 MP that Prostasia costs, so I took a risk and went into the room without it. This put me below two-shot conditions, and could have potentially ended the run if the Lich had cast Radial Surge. Thankfully he plays nice.

9:20 The chest in the second lich's room contains the Iron Key, as well as Psychodrain.

I play the rest of the area pretty cautiously. 10:49 The Dark Elemental really isn't a problem at this point, as long as I heal after his every turn.

12:12 The final Blood Lizard here... I don't know what his deal is exactly, but he criticals me for 200 damage an absolutely cruel amount of the time. If I'm not basically at full health before his every turn, he often ends my run. Very frustrating since he's actually the last enemy in the area.
