What If Legion Had Killed Xavier and Magneto? The time traveler seemingly kills both mutant leaders, giving Apocalypse almost no opposition. Most mutants join Apocalypse, while some flee to the Savage Lands, as Apocalypse exterminates or subjugates the rest of Earth's population. Decades later, Scott and Jean are training their telekinetic son Nate, when Apocalypse's forces suddenly attack. The couple barely get their son away in time before they and everyone else are vaporized, Sauron flying Nate into a frozen wasteland before nearly dying of exhaustion. Luckily, Logan arrives and takes Nate to a resistance group, lead by Brother Voodoo, who is now Sorcerer Supreme. The group train for an upcoming assault, but splinters begin to form as Nate and Owen vaporize some of Apocalypse's scouts, much to Steve's anger. The next day, the group march on Apocalypse's lair, only to be held back by Holocaust and Spider-Man symbiote clones. The group fight valiantly, but Ben, Sauron, and Peter are killed, forcing Voodoo to open a portal the remaining heroes escape into. But before Voodoo can open one to Apocalypse's chambers, Dormammu confronts the heroes, Voodoo staying behind as the heroes escape, but Nate takes the Eye of Agamotto with him. While the remaining heroes fight the Four Horsemen, Nate and Owen confront Apocalypse, instantly liquefying him. And with the Eye, Nate gets ready to turn back time and prevent Xavier and Magneto's death. But Steve can't risk him potentially destroying all of existence and uses Thor's hammer to kill Nate, before setting off with Logan to hopefully rebuild the world. And it's revealed the lightning strike Steve sent for Nate that passed through the portal is what killed Xavier and Magneto in the first place. It's yet another apocalyptic X-Men story, and I am just so done with these! But I'll give it credit the writing and art are good, the fights have life to them, and Nate's character arc is interesting. It's worth a look. And I guess Dormammu was in no mood to bargain.
