#646 Ehrgeiz (PS1) Exclusive Hidden Characters (5/5): Koji Masuda playthrough.
A playthrough of the exclusive hidden character Koji Masuda in the PS1 port of Ehrgeiz.
The very last exclusive hidden character to cover, and he's not too bad at all. Koji is a grappler character, which in this game means he is technically at a distinct disadvantage considering weapon and projectile-use is a norm for a majority of characters in the game. This can mean it's difficult for him to close in on the opponent, particularly if they feel like keeping their distance via spamming. However, if he is able to get in close Koji is able to utilise chain-throws; throws which connect into one another and which deal a significant amount of damage when everything is pulled off. These have a tendency to do more damage than your average combo, meaning that if your play is savvy enough you'll be able to take down an opponent in no time, so long as you can close the gap on them. Definitely a high-risk, high-reward character, but a good character to finish on I would say, even from a usual naysayer of grapplers such as myself.
That's it for the exclusive hidden characters, but we're not quite done with Ehrgeiz just yet...
