Well, I really wanted to break this game for all the frustration it caused me. But so far I only found several fairly inconsequential mechanics oddities. Here are the ones that were worth displaying on video. I might still take another shot at this game later.

I: you can cause another type of leaning glitch with flares. Start lighting a flare but suddenly interrupt it with a lean as you walk, then hold down the button for leaning... and that's it. You can walk while leaning. However, this is different from the auto-lean glitch I showed previously since you can't activate prompts in this mode (so it's more like a normal lean that way). It also ends once you let go of the lean-button.

Also, as a bonus glitch, the terminal HUD note is stuck at the bottom of the screen in this clip. You can get it stuck by opening the map at the same time you leave a terminal.

II: using the auto-lean, you can attack beyond some closed doors. Unlikely that this will ever come very handy...

III: you can overlap the saving prompt with the System menu by opening it at a correct time. The use so far: none. Also, apparently you can't load your game as it is saving it.

IV: well, this is a more interesting one. You can overlap the weapon wheel and the Map-menu by simply opening them at the same time. This lets you craft items while time is stopped, which... I guess could come in handy in some sticky situation? You normally can't control the weapon wheel, but trying to aim (while holding down the wheel button) closes it temporarily, and then you gain control of it.

V: on another occasion I managed to cause an odd softlock or hardlock to the game trying this glitch out.

VI: if you do a melee attack, then do the weapon-wheel-inside-Map-menu glitch and switch gear from a weapon to any throwable gear, the weapon HUD shows that you have the weapon equipped, even though you don't. I haven't noticed any really interesting effects to this mixed-up state, though.

VII: a variation where you do the same thing, except instead of a melee attack whip out the motion detector for a moment. This causes Ripley to hold an invisible weapon in her hands for a moment.

VIII: the prompt of climbing ladders has a short delay during which you can start actions, which the climbing animation then interrupts. One oddity I noticed was trying to shoot with the flamethrower. The next time Ripley takes it out, it doesn't have a flame and it doesn't produce light. Otherwise it still works like normal, though.

(Not on the vid: reloading right after choosing to Rewire or Climb (and maybe other prompts as well) causes a glitch. You hear the reloading sound, although your gun doesn't become reloaded. Then, the next time you aim with your gun, Ripley moves the gun as if she was just finished reloading. Alternatively, you can take out the motion detector and Ripley will lower it for a moment for no reason.)
